What seems like a lifetime ago, Rachel and I both lived in Honolulu. Rachel was my sister's roommate and she quickly became a part of my family.

A few years later, we both ended up here in New England, where Rachel grew up. I came for graduate school. I've had the great honor of seeing Rachel get married to Dave and give birth to Paige and Carson, and while we don't see each other nearly as often as we'd like to, we will always be each other's ohana. 

We took advantage of the magical combination of unseasonably warm weather and peak foliage for this shoot at Grist Mill in Sudbury, Massachusetts.
