Seven years ago, I moved to Portland, Oregon for a stint, where I met Lindsey. We quickly became close and, despite living across the country from one another today, she is still my number one! Someday, when we're old and grey, we plan on getting side-by-side retirement cabanas, which we'll fill with rescue dogs.

Lindsey is an artist and she had her first solo show (a series of paintings focused on motherhood) at the beginning of November. I flew in for a whirlwind two days to help set up the gallery and to take her beautiful family's holiday photos. And these little girls? Well, they have my heart. One of them (Olivia Joy, in grey) even has my name!
